Estimated Adult Size

So many people wish for a guarantee that pups will stay teeny-tiny (myself included). I’ve tried “charting” predicted adult size based on puppy weights for several years but I didn’t find much consistency. 

I have found the attached picture extremely helpful  to understand the genetics of size.

I have several females who range in weight from 2.6 lbs - 8 lbs so using the chart above, assuming two average size Chihuahuas mate.
