Please note that I am very slow to respond. I struggle to respond to comments on social media posts or Messenger requests so the best way to contact me is emailing tinypawsllc@outlook.com or I sometimes list my puppies on puppies.com, Hoobly & Pet Classifieds but again, please be careful communicating on there - always ask for proof of puppy & note we will never offer transport or courtier services. My User Name on all cash aps is tinypawsllc. I don’t accept checks or gift cards, codes, etc for deposits but can accept checks for balance of price.
Please see section, ”Puppy Parents” which shows the name, weight & pictures of the parents. The size of the parents generally determine the average, adult size of the puppies but occasionally tiny parents can have bigger pups & bigger parents can have an extremely tiny pup. I try to use the “charting” method to give my best, honest estimates on how big I think the pups will be as adults. I’m not using “size prediction“ as a sales tool but trying to be as realistic as I possibly can. So many people want micro, “tea cup” Chihuahuas & I feel if you have your heart set on a “teacup” it’s probably best to adopt from another breeder. My goal is healthy pups with playful, loving personalities & beautiful coats to be adopted as family pets.
See see the size chart below as well.
The majority of pups are a mix of deer & apple head parents. Please review any of the Tiny Paws LLC social media (user name @tinypawsllc) for pictures of adults & grown pups to be certain you love the look of the adults.
Pricing the puppies is difficult for me. I truly wish I could give them away because I know how much joy they bring to people’s lives. 💚
My prices are slightly lower than average market price for CKC registered (full rights) because I want them to be adopted into families, to be raised as pets and not breeding programs. I’m raising them as pet quality companions, not show dogs.
I’ve also received complaints that my prices are “too high” which is sad because I feel everyone should be able to find their perfect pet. Unfortunately prices everywhere are rising (vet, dog food, etc) which results in price pass through. I do suggest you research the prices of other CKC Breeders to put my prices in perspective: some Chihuahuas are currently selling for $6,000 each & most are at average of $2,000.
I prefer not to sell my puppies to breeders. I raise the pups in my home and do not crate train, unless specifically requested. The pups are used to exploring & cuddling with me and my daughter and I want/prefer them to go to family homes. I have many friends who are breeders who love their dogs like I do & I honestly feel it’s a wonderful experience for children to participate in raising puppies so I’m not strict on that but please ask for DNA results if you do plan to breed. I have a lot of hidden Merle parents so it’s important to understand the cost/color specifics for the safety of future pups.
I’m State licensed for “pet quality” (vs “show quality”) all adult dogs & puppies are tested/ Vet examined in accordance w/ State mandates. My licensing manager inspects my adults, my home, my yard & requires current vet paperwork on all adults & puppies. My vets do thorough exams on all adults & all males are Brucellosis tested annually. I have DNA tested over the years but have retired some adults who were DNA tested/cleared & siblings who are DNA tested/cleared. Im currently in the process of DNA testing all
Because I am State licensed, my health guarantee is worded verbatim per State mandate, “Puppy is guaranteed, to the best of my knowledge, to be healthy, free from birth defects, illness or disease. In the event puppy is determined, by a certified *Vetrinarian, to have any genetic defects, irregularities, or impairments within the 48-72 hours after purchase, the puppy may be returned for 100% of the purchase price.” * excludes Vetco & Banfield & commercial “upsell” practices.
I have found the picture above extremely helpful to understand the genetics of size.
The volume of puppy scammers is terrifying & continues to double annually. If you see something “too good to be true” - it’s a a scam. It’s helpful to review the website: puppies.com to research pricing for the various appearances of puppies. Unfortunately scammers are present on these puppy sites too. “Verified” accounts & customer reviews shouldn’t automatically be trusted. The safest way to adopt is via licensed breeders who are willing to share license information but also have to protect ourselves from scammers trying to obtain our licensing information for use in their scams so breeders also need to need to verify adopters’ identities before sharing this information. If you worry about scams, ask the breeder for pictures of puppies with specific items in the pictures such as a blue pen or a lightbulb (lol) or a piece of paper. This will prove they have the puppy in their possession which scammers cannot do. They can only use pictures they’ve stolen from other breeders (example below if Facebook group using my puppy pictures). Be extremely wary of courier or transport service fees. I’ll update this section in the near future with additional inf.
